About SPSF/BC
The mission of SPSF/BC is "to enable single parents to attain self-sufficiency through post-secondary education". Designed to supplement existing government
assistance, college grants and loans, SPSF/BC implements a holistic approach to
helping single parent students achieve their educational goals.
Board of Directors
The SPSF/BC Board of Directors consists of a 15 member volunteer board who govern,
set policies and provide oversight in the management of SPSF/BC funds.
Advisory Council
The SPSF/BC Advisory Council is made up of volunteers who advise,
interview students, help with student programs, and coordinate the annual benefit.
